#7: Africa - Toto

It's gonna take us quite a lot to neglect the majestic and flamboyant musical styling of Toto, more specifically their hit single "Africa." A song of true love and struggle, "Africa" was great enough to make it to #7 on our top 10! With lyrics alluding to the magic and beauty of one of the world's largest continents and instrumentals sure to blow your mind, it's certainly one to chill out and meditate to. We more than anyone are absolutely certain that My Chemical Romance are anything but ashamed of who they are! Coming in at #6, "Welcome to the Black Parade" is a song about heartbreak, defiance, and other powerful messages that seep through the heart of die-hard fans of My Chem and unfamiliar listeners alike. The song's fast paced and mesmerizing lyrics--attributes featured to nearly all the songs off the album--is what makes it so amazing. How could anyone in the 21st century be unfamiliar with this song? A fan favorite on everyone's iPod, "Welcome to the Black Parade" is one to remember for the ages.

#5: Hotel California - Eagles

We wouldn't have dared to leave this one out of our top 10! With such a powerful and metaphorical message, that many people probably to this day may still be unable to figure out, this song is certainly a hit for classic rock fans and fiends alike. The psychedelic melodies just send it's listeners on a whirlwind of emotions and feelings, something that has been sure to promise "Hotel California" a spot on our list.

#4: Earth Song - Michael Jackson

What have we done to the world / Look what we've done / What about all the peace / That you pledge your only son?

We can say that we've definitely done something right with Michael Jackson in the top 5 of our list. Michael Jackson--a name that today most certainly speaks for itself. The legacy and amazing songs that he's left behind on earth are definitely all magnificent. Trust me--there are plenty of other MJ songs that we'd have loved to put on our top 10 but if we had, there wouldn't be room for any other artists! We picked "Earth Song" because it has a message that we feel our world really needs to hear more than ever. At #4, it's Michael Jackson's "Earth Song" with hope for a better tomorrow.

#3: Mamma Mia - ABBA

Mamma Mia / Here I go again / My, my how could I resist you?

There's no way that we could have resisted putting this song in our top 10! It'd have been an insult to great musicians and music fans alike if we didn't put ABBA at least in the top 5 of our list--lucky for us, we're smart enough to put it at #3! The song is catchy, the lyrics are totally relatable, and there's even a Broadway play named after it! Gnarly! ABBA's an amazing band with quite the reputation. Both parents and their kids can enjoy the up-beat tempos and catchy lyrics of ABBA, therefore making it more than worthy of a top spot on our list.

#2: Eye of the Tiger - Survivor

It's the eye of the tiger / It's the thrill of the fight.

We're absolutely more than thrilled to give the well-deserved credit to Survivor's masterpiece. The single, made most famous from the movie "Rocky III," is definitely a song everyone knows and can sing along to. The song is certainly more than capable of pumping up everyone for their own battles--whether at the gym or talking a walk down the street, you'll be sure to be prepared for anything with this song on your playlist! The ability this song has to prepare anyone with the eye of the tiger is exactly why it's placed at #2 on our list!

#1: Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Is this the real life? / Is this just fantasy? 
We assure you, this is no fantasy! We didn't think it'd be much of a surprise that the poetic verses and majestic vocalizing of the late Freddie Mercury would make it to the top of our list. Queen, possibly one of the greatest bands of all time, has moved millions with their #1 single "Bohemian Rhapsody." The beauty of the song can speak for itself. How can anyone help themselves from breaking out into lyrics once those first few harmonies are sang? Who else has ever heard of a song much more brilliant, more powerful? Exactly. That's why it's #1 on our list!
